not my home

My Uncle visited us from Missouri this weekend. Being a chaplain in the army, he moves a lot. His wife and five kids are still living in Kentucky, until he finds a house in Missouri. As we visited with him this weekend, I once again marveled at the heart of this man. He hasn't seen his family for three weeks but still smiles and speaks of the greatness of God in every conversation.

Although, "home" changes for this family often, their life describes what Paul said in Philippians 3.

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ...
