I read through Ezekial not too long ago and was struck by one phrase which reappeared continuously. "Then you will know that I am the Lord."
The Lord's people repeatedly rebelled against him, denying His sovereignty and might. As a result, God punished them saying every time, "Then you will know that I am the Lord."
In every paragraph I read it. In every chapter it was said at least 8 times. For every punishment, it was the reason. God was jealous for His fame-for His glory.
As I was reading, I was pondering how much God wants to be known and how much He wants to be our everything. Is my life an ever reflection of who Christ is? When I interact with others, does Christ say, "Now they will know that I am the Lord"?
I want people to know that He is the Lord, that He is the awesome Creator of the universe, that He deserves the glory, that He was broken for us. I desire to live my life in such a way that declares to the world..."HE IS THE LORD!"

Hi Leslie,
Here's a good video I found on YouTube about religion, you might like to view it and see if you have any answers for the questions it poses.
