Why Halloween is Special...

Have you ever wondered what is so special about Halloween? Here is a list of some important events that took place on Halloween:

1. Well...my mom's granddad was born on Halloween in the year 1621. If he hadn't been born...my Granddad would not be born...and then my mom would not have been born...and if my mom wasn't born, I wouldn't have been born. This is very important!

2. About three years ago, our beloved dutch bunny, Oreo, died on Halloween. She was a loyal rabbit that died of old age. We were truly sad to see her go. Here is just a little video of our adventures together...



3. My old Sunday school teacher became a Christian on Halloween back when he was 16 or so. He has been a great leader in our church and a godly example to me. Because of the change in his life this has been possible! THIS IS SIGNIFICANT!

4. Alright, last but definitely not least. :) In 1517, Martin Luther nailed the 95 theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenburg, Germany. If it hadn't been for his confidence to proclaim the truth. We may still be believing that we could pay off our sins on our own. THIS IS SOOOOO SIGNIFICANT!
