Autumn Breeze

|

Autumn comes with a gentle breeze
Red leaves cling to pretty trees
They flutter, flutter, flutter on,
Until one big gust and they're gone.

The dark grey clouds break at noon,
The morning mist is gone so soon.
The icey chill hangs in the air,
The autumn breeze blows it there.

Summer lingers with the sun.
Days get shorter one by one.
Until the rain clouds decide to stay,
And the autumn breeze blows away.
