It is harder this way.
I often don’t want to hear what You say.
But, if this is what You want me to do,

Sometimes it’s hard to wait.
It may become to late.
But, if this is what You want me to do,

The waves begin to race.
I cannot see Your face.
But, if this is what You want me to do,
Lord, help me trust in You.

There are many people
Who I could follow.
If this is what You want me to do,
Lord, help me follow You.

There is money and treasure
I can long for.
But, if this is what You want me to do,
Lord, help me desire You!

Sometimes I doubt.
I can't seem to figure things out.
If this is what You want me to do,
Lord, help me believe in You.

Lord, help me and I will.
